Here’s how to get started:
Step 1
Download the Yahoo Widget Engine
To download the Widget engine, go to widgets.yahoo.com and click on the download link for your operating system, be it Windows XP/2000 or Mac OSX.

System requirements are listed at the bottom of the page and are listed below for your convenience.
Step 2
Upon clicking the appropriate download link, you will be taken to the download page where the download should start automatically within a few seconds. Follow the directions listed on the download page.
Step 3
Follow the on-screen instructions during the installation process.
Step 4
Download the EcoQuest News Portal Widget.
After installing the Yahoo Widget engine, you will need to download the EcoQuest News Widget at www.ecoquest.com/widget. When the download dialog appears, choose Save to Disk. We suggest you save it to your desktop for convenience.
Final Step
To run the EcoQuest News Widget, double-click on the program the same way you would start any other program.
Minimum System Requirements:
  • Windows XP with Service Pack 1 installed or Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3 installed, or newer, or Mac OS X 10.3 or newer.
  • A connection to the Internet.
