DBG Group Investments, LLC recently purchased certain operating assets of EcoQuest Holding Corporation and its subsidiaries. Aerus Holdings has invested capital and expertise in a variety of companies where it has complete or significant operating control. One of Holdings’ primary investments, is Aerus LLC (formerly Electrolux LLC). Aerus has been a leader in floor care products and the direct selling industry for over 85 years and has served more than 50 million homes. Holdings’ other investments include Tristar Enterprises, LLC, Once Upon A Family, inthinc, inc. and Nationwide Acceptance. Annual sales for all Holdings’ portfolio companies exceeds $300,000,000.

Joseph P. Urso - Chairman & CEO
Joseph P. Urso is the Chairman and CEO of DBG. He also holds these or similar titles for other companies in Aerus Holdings’ portfolio. Mr. Urso is also a director and primary investor in Aerus Holdings. He began his direct selling career as a child in Greenwich, Connecticut, the town where Electrolux (now known as Aerus) had its headquarters. In 1998, he lead the purchase of Electrolux from Sara Lee Corp. and has initiated the transformation of the company from a strictly floorcare product line to a complete home-health products organization.
Mr. Urso received his BA from Marietta College in 1976, his JD from Stetson University in Florida in 1979 and his Masters of Law in Taxation from New York University in 1980. He was a founding partner in the Dallas law firm of Stutzman & Bromberg in 1983. Mr. Urso left the practice of law in 1994 to form Engles, Urso, Follmer Capital Corporation, a Dallas based investment and buyout firm. Mr. Urso is involved in the Direct Selling Association and has served on its Board of Directors. His full-time efforts are dedicated to Aerus Holdings and its portfolio companies.
Mr. Urso lives in Dallas, Texas and has three children, all of whom are still in school.
Kevin Hickey – Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Kevin Hickey is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of DBG. He hold similar titles for other companies in Aerus Holdings portfolio, and also serves on Aerus Holdings’ board of directors. Mr. Hickey joined the Aerus business in December 1977. Since that time, Mr. Hickey has held various management and executive positions such as Vice President of Field Administration and Executive Vice President of Administration. Mr. Hickey holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State University, and has completed course work toward an MBA at Kennesaw State College.
Mr. Hickey currently resides in Dallas with his wife Torey and 2 daughters, Jessica and Shannon.
Bret Holland – Chief Financial Officer
Bret Holland is the Chief Financial Officer of DBG. He holds similar titles with other companies in Holdings’ portfolio. Mr. Holland joined Aerus in November of 1998. During that time he has held the positions of Director of Finance, VP-Finance, as well as his current position of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to his tenure with Aerus, Mr. Holland held the position of Controller for Interceramic, Inc., a Dallas, TX based manufacturer of ceramic floor tile. Prior to that, he worked in public accounting for the national firm Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Holland has maintained a CPA license since 1992. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Business Administration. Mr. Holland lives in Garland, Texas with his wife Melissa. In March of this year, Bret and Melissa welcomed their newborn son to the family.
Carl C. Christoff – Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer
Carl C. Christoff is the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of DBG. He holds similar titles for other companies in Aerus Holdings’ portfolio. Mr. Christoff joined Aerus in January 2002 and is currently Aerus' President and Chief Legal Officer. From April 2000 to 2004, he served as Vice President of Engles Urso Follmer Capital Corporation, a Dallas-based investment firm. From January 1984 to March 2000, Mr. Christoff was an attorney with Stutzman & Bromberg in Dallas, Texas, where he served on the firm's management committee. Mr. Christoff obtained his undergraduate degree from Mount Union College and a law degree from Tulane University. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
Mark Battista – Executive Vice President
Mark Battista is the Executive Vice President of DBG. He has twenty years of experience with start-up ventures in the telecommunications, construction, environmental, manufacturing, and gaming industries. He received his BS in electrical engineering from Michigan State University. He currently holds a Masters Degree in business administration from SMU.
As founder and Vice President for L. Battista Electrical Construction, he managed a 300 employee, 25 million dollar organization, for 10 years. After acquiring Voice Retrieval & Information Services in 1989, he has been instrumental in developing one of the largest local Real Estate Networks in the country. Voice Retrieval also provides electronic and web-based voting services for state and local governments. In 1987, he established National Waste Inc. a non-hazardous liquid waste treatment facility in Dallas, Texas, which was later sold to a large waste company in Houston, TX. Mark recently joined the Aerus team as EVP, and will be responsible for manufacturing, engineering, IT and distribution.
William Coyle – Executive Vice President of Sales
Bill Coyle is the Executive Vice President of Sales of DBG. Mr. Coyle joined Aerus’ Canadian affiliate in 1972 as a sales rep in their college program, and has held various managerial and executive positions in Sales, Finance, Marketing and Administration. In January 2003, his employment was transferred to Aerus’ U.S. affiliate, where he serves as the Vice President of Training and Education. Mr. Coyle graduated from Dawson College in Montreal, Quebec with a Business Administration degree, and has completed additional course work at Concordia (Montreal) and York (Toronto) Universities in marketing and accounting. He is fluent in English, French and speaks some Italian, Japanese, and Mandarin as well.
Anil Agrawal is currently dedicated to special projects. His business objectives are to lead, manage, measure and apply his skills in management of the company to gain profits, by using efficient and effective resources. He is known as a “turn around” guy with his creative and analytical problem solving techniques at EcoQuest International.
Anil is a native Nepalese, and has lived in the United States for the last twelve years. While in Nepal, he managed his family’s successful international businesses, including a restaurant and a movie production company. He came to the United States to further his education with a vision to succeed. He received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. Some of his other professional experience includes VP of International Operations and Development and Operations Manager for EcoQuest International, as well as Systems Analyst and Senior Systems Analyst for Alpine Industries.
Anil resides in Jonesborough, TN with his wife, Leena and a daughter, Amisha.
Mike Jackson – National Field Leader & Independent Business Owner
Mike Jackson is DBG’s National Field Leader. Mr. Jackson is a 29-year veteran of direct sales. After a start in the field as an independent distributor, he had reached the highest levels of success with one of the oldest and most successful network marketing companies in the world. He was an eight-time qualifier for their President’s Club; a feat never before accomplished in that company’s 40-year history. During his 16 years as an independent field representative, he also built a traditional and highly successful water purification business, Best America Water Purification.
He is an accomplished speaker, having presented life changing messages to thousands of audiences throughout the world on the subject of entrepreneurship and success. Mike has been married to "Nata," his childhood sweetheart, for 35 years and has 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren.
Colonel Roper – Advisor to Unovus
Colonel Lee Roper is an advisor to DBG regarding the Unovus business. Col. Roper is an interesting man. He was a ranking officer in Vietnam, who, after leaving the military, became one of the most successful land developers in Texas. He now travels the world using his influence to improve his city, state and country. He is active politically, and regularly attends White House events.
Colonel Roper also runs a real estate business involved in land development and apartment building all across the state of Texas, from El Paso to San Antonio and various points in between. Colonel Roper believes in the home-based business concept and has personally helped many people succeed by introducing them to personal business ownership.
